Introduction

You are an energy engineer employed by the city of Porterville. The city of Porterville has asked you to determine which forms of energy the city should use to produce electricity.  The city wants to use one renewable energy form and one nonrenewable energy form to produce the city’s electrical power.

You will work with a team of three other energy engineers to determine the best forms of energy for Porterville to use.

Process

Each Energy Engineer on your team will become an expert on two forms of energy, one renewable energy form and one nonrenewable energy form.

Task 1:

You will complete a thinking map for each energy form that you explore.

Task 2:

You will complete a 3-slide PowerPoint presentation about your two forms of energy.

Task 3:

Present your PowerPoint to your group and determine which energy sources are the best.
